The death has occurred of
Joe (Joseph) Mooney
Joe (Joseph) Mooney (Glasnevin, Dublin and late of The Irish Times) passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on 18th August 2020 surrounded by his loving family, leaving behind his beloved wife of 50 years Stephanie, his children Frank, Freaya, Stephanie, Robert and Brian, his sons-in-law Stephen and Sean, his daughters-in-law Karen and Suzanne, his grandchildren Shauna, Adam, Kevin, Tom, Jack, James, Joseph, Shay and Sophia, his great-grandchildren Maya and Caitríona, his sisters and brothers Frank, Maura, Eamon, Brian and Shay, extended family and friends.
Reposing at his home for family and friends. A private family Funeral will take place in The Church of Our Mother of Divine Grace, Ballygall Road East on Thursday morning at 11o’c Mass which can also be viewed on the parish webcam ballygallparish.ie.
Burial afterwards at Glasnevin Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff of St Francis Hospice, the palliative community team for all their amazing help. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St Francis Hospice.
