Joe McKelvey

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday 28th November 2022 of Joe McKelvey, Stralongford, Drumkeen F93 VKH3.  Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret, children - John, Emma and Mark, partners Laura and Dave, grandchildren Sadhbh and Cuan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Joe is predeceased by his parents William and Bridget.

Rest in Peace

Joe’s remains are reposing at his late residence on Tuesday 29th November from 4pm until 10pm and on Wednesday 30th November from 10am until 10pm with Rosary both evenings at 9pm.  Funeral from there on Thursday 1st December at 10.15am going to St. Patrick’s Church Drumkeen for 11am Requiem Mass.  Interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.  Family flowers only please.  Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Oncology Day Services, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.  House private on the morning of the funeral please.

A shuttle bus will be in operation from Hugo Sweeney’s Yard F93 XP86 to the wake-house on Tuesday 29th November from 6pm until 10pm and on Wednesday from 4pm until 10pm
