John Brendan Flynn

John Brendan Flynn, Ballyfore, Croghan, Co. Offaly & formerly of Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath, peacefully passed away in the presence of his loving family on 6th January 2025 at Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Predeceased by his parents, sister Mary, brothers Peter and Pat. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Seery), and beloved father of Fiona, Sean and Sinead. Grandfather of Annie. John had an adventure heart and travelled to many parts of the world. He served in the army and showed tremendous courage. He was a farmer to the core and was happiest when he was at the Home Farm with his brothers Peter and Pat Flynn who have sadly passed away in previous years. He was an incredible, inspiring father how very much believed that nothing is impossible if you try. He will be truely missed by all of the family his fighting spirit will live on in all of us.

Reposing at Lorcan O'Brien & Son Funeral Home Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath (N91 W422), Friday, 10th January, from 5pm - 6.30pm, rosary at 6.30pm. Funeral mass Saturday, 11th January, at 12 noon in St. Stephen's Church, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath (N91 PE00), followed by burial in the local cemetery.
