John Cahill

John Cahill, (Pearse Avenue, Mervue and Gortroe, Corrandulla). Very peacefully in his 89th year, surrounded by loving family at Brampton Care Home. Predeceased by his wife Noreen, and his brothers Thomas (Australia), Michael (Gortroe), and Martin (Kilcahill). Deeply regretted by his sons Gerard, Séan, Thomas, Greg, Brendan (Australia), his daughters Marie Brennan (U.K.) and Lorraine O’ Reilly, daughters-in-law Rose, Bernie, Karen and Mary, sons-in-law Gerry and Séan.

Deeply missed by his adored grandchildren Bryan, Paula, Noel, Enda, Lauren, Shona, Adam, Ella, Amy, Gemma, Dylan, Saoirse, Tara (Australia),Cathal and Eoghan. John will be sadly missed by his sisters Mamie Murphy (Kilbeg) and Della (Athlone), his brother Paddy (Athlone). Fondly remembered by his many nephews, nieces, extended family, friends, great neighbours and retired E.S.B. Colleagues.

A private family Requiem Mass will be held at the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue on Saturday,  the 22nd of  May at 12 noon. Funeral after Mass to Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore. The family would like to thank you for your sympathy, kindness and support at this sad time.
