| peacefully in the wonderful care of staff at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Tom Joe and Mary Ellen, his brother Paddy, his infant sister Mary Theresa and his grandson Baby Mark McNeill.
Beloved husband of Mae and much loved father of Carol (O’Connor), Michelle, Fiona and Sinéad (McNeill). Loving brother of Pauline Killeen and Kathleen Meade. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sons in law Padraig O’Connor and Marty McNeill, his grandchildren Saorise, Katie and Sophie, nephews, nieces, brothers in law, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Newbridge, Ballinasloe (H53EO34) this Friday evening from 5 - 7pm. Removal from his home this Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Newbridge, Ballinasloe for 12 o’clock Funeral Mass for John Francis Britton. Burial afterwards in Killyan Cemetery. John Francis Funeral Mass will be broadcast on Zoom - Newbridge Church Link 908239920 Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Care West.
