John Gaffney

John Gaffney, Newbrook Road, Clonmore, Mullingar, Co.Westmeath June 17th, 2022, (peacefully), in the company of his loving family at St. James's Hospital, Dublin, following an illness bravely borne.  Predeceased by his brothers, James and Patrick.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Alacoque and much loved father of Alan, Hilary, and James. John will be very sadly missed by his wife and family, sisters, Annie (McKinley), Bernadette (Caffrey), Eileen (Smullen) and Teresa, brothers-in-law, Tony and James, sister-in-law Rachel, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and great friends.

Reposing at Gilsenans Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 o’c  with prayers at 6 o’c and followed by removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, arriving at 6.30 o’c. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 o’c followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
