Formerly of Kilfinane, Co. Limerick

John died very peacefully on Wednesday at University Hospital, Galway with his beloved wife Catherine (Kay) and family by his side. Pre-deceased by his parents, brothers and sister, Pat, Toss and Theresa. Rest In Peace.

 

Sadly mourned and missed by his wife and sons Declan, Tom and Jonathan, daughters-in-law Ger and Karin, adored grandchildren Kai, Ruby, Theo and Charlie John, his sister Angela and nephew Kieran, the extended Murphy and Hayes family and many friends.

 

Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, on Sunday evening from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. A ‘Walk-Through’ system is in place. Removal from his home on Monday, 17th January at 11.15 a.m. to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Forster Street for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. Private Cremation to follow. Mass will be live-streamed on https://youtu.be/k-HDvZ3S4F4 .

 

May his kind and gentle soul fly high over the fields of "Shanagolden"
