John (Jack) O’Callaghan of Caherconlish, Co. Limerick. On August 1st 2020 (peacefully) at Milford Care Centre. Son of the late Ned and Eileen. Very deeply regretted by his brothers Jerry and Eddie, sisters-in-law Margaret and Sheila, nephews David, Edmond and Michael, nieces Dympna, Sarah, Eibhlìn, Edwina and Angelina, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

May He Rest in Peace

Requiem Mass Tuesday (August 4th) at 11.30am in Arch Bishop Dermot O'Hurley Memorial Church, Caherline, with Funeral afterwards to Emly Cemetery.

In compliance with current guidelines, funeral will be confined to family and close friends only.

Jack went peacefully at Milford care centre accompanied by his nephew Edmond. Jack was a unique, kind, laid back, infinitely interested in people, farmer till the last. We love you Jack very much and will never forget you. Many thanks to the Oncology staff of ULH: Shirley Baker, Anne Quinlan, and the all the wonderful people that helped Jack throughout the early stages of his illness. Special thanks to nurse AnnO’Dwyer of the Milford Palliative home care and all the team at Milford for their great medical support that helped to keep Jack at home throughout the latter stages of his illness. Further appreciation to Jack’s personal care team, Michelle and Paula in particular, who filled Jack’s home with warmth and positivity. Massive appreciation to Elizabeth and Bill for their incredible kindness and support. And much gratitude to G.P Michael Lynch, Public health team and Fr Roy Donovan for their support.
