The death has occurred of John Gerard O'Shea, Roxboro Road, Limerick, formerly of Ulster Bank and lifelong member of Young Munster RFC.

John (Jack) O'Shea died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, 18 September 2021, following a short illness in the wonderful care of the Oncology and CCU Team at University Hospital Limerick, and Rachel and Staff at St. Anthony's Nursing Home during the past few months.

Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Kathleen, and his only brother Michael and Michael's wife Goretti, John is survived by his sisters Margaret, Gerardine, Valerie, Linda and Patricia, his brothers-in-law Declan, Brian and Micheál, his beloved nieces and nephews Deirdre, David, Rachel, Eoghan, Sebastian, Devin, Lara, Caoileann and Fionn, his nephew-in-law Alan and niece-in-law Catriona, and his grandniece Emma and grandnephews Alex and Benjamin, and will be sadly missed by them and his close cousins, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with John's wishes, a private funeral has taken place. Donations, if desired, to Oncology Unit 6B UHL.
