Peacefully, at his home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, parents and sisters. Johnny will be very sadly missed by his daughters Bernie and Jacqui (UK), grandchildren Barry, Charlette, Greg, Josh, Ryan, Alexa and Harry, great-grandchildren Leonie, Ronnie and Charlie, brothers Jimmy and Kieran, sisters Carmel, Betty, Kitty, Pauline, Nora and Monica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown (C15 C425) on Monday from 5 pm-7 pm for family and close friends. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10 am to arrive at St. John the Baptist Church Kilberry for Funeral Mass at 11 which can be viewed on: https://www.youtube.com/user/Finnegandvd Burial afterward in Kilberry Cemetery.

 

The family would like to especially thank Richard and Marie Farrelly who looked after Johnny with great kindness over the last few years and also all the carers who took care of Johnny throughout his illness.

 

In compliance with the current HSE guidelines, and to ensure the safety of all a Funeral Mass will take place for family, limited to 50 people. Please ensure social distancing and Public Health advice is adhered to.
