| Peacefully, at St. Vincent's University Hospital, after being in the wonderful care of Jan, Viji, and all the staff at Ashling Nursing Home, Arklow. Predeceased by his loving parents Joe and Josie, his twin brother Paul, his baby brother Finbar and his niece Dymphna Byrne. Sadly missed by Sharon, his brothers Ray and Fergus, sisters Margaret (Hall), Frances (Byrne) and Madeline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
Due to current government restrictions, a private family Funeral will take place. John's funeral cortège will leave the family home in Dwyer Square on Thursday at 11.30am to St. Kevin's Church, Killaveney, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. People are welcome to line the route to the church whilst adhering to social distancing. Covid restrictions on numbers and social distancing guidelines will apply in the church and cemetery. Condolences may be expressed through the condolence section below. House strictly private. Funeral Mass will be streamed on http://kilaveneyparish.ie/
