After a short illness. In the wonderful care of the Staff of the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles. Predeceased by his wife Anna. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son Peter and daughter Deirdre, grandchildren Georgia, Lauren and Sorcha, sister Anne (Courtney, Kells), daughter-in-law Jessica, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law John (Bourke) and Eamon (Courtney), cousins, former colleagues in Thurles Credit Union and Irish Army, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Ardeen Nursing Home, Abbey Road, Thurles on Friday, 28th September, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Arriving at Bothar na Naomh Church at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 29th September, at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.
