NEWMAN (Marina Terrace, Albert Road, Cork): On 30th September 2024, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Darraglyn Nursing Home, JOHN (late of ESB, Marina and City of Cork Male Voice Choir), dearly beloved husband of the late Peggy (née Scoutts) and much loved father of Billy, John, Valerie (Daly) ,Terry (Newman-Maxwell) and Olive (Cohen).

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Kevin, Pat and Brendan, daughters-in-law Ber and Caroline, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Kitty and Margaret, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (October 3rd) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Friday (October 4th) in St. Joseph’s SMA Church, Blackrock Road which can be viewed here.

Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
