The death has occurred of John O'Rourke
Clonminch Road, Tullamore, Offaly

John O'Rourke, Clonminch Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly and late of the Department of Agriculture Portlaoise, Tullamore and Castlebar November 14th 2020. Peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore following a long illness surrounded by his family. Son of the late Timothy and Kathleen (Ballinakill). Survived by his beloved wife Marie Goretti Glynn O'Rourke, daughter Aisling O'Rourke and sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Timothy, sisters Mary, Ann,Patricia and Catherine, nephews, nieces and grandnieces.

 

Removal from his home on Tuesday morning at 9.30 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock in the Church of Assumption, Tullamore, followed by burial in Clonminch Cemetery.

 

May He Rest In Peace.

 

In lieu of flowers, please plant an Irish native species tree in John's memory.

 

His Funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://www.tullamoreparish.ie/component/content/article/63-twenty-fifteen/3594-mywebcam2

 

In compliance with government guidelines on COVID 19 regarding public gatherings, Mass will be restricted to family and friends only (Max 25).

 

Due to Government restrictions the family requests that those wishing to pay their respects form a socially distanced guard of honour on Clonminch Road en route to Clonminch Cemetery.

 

Those wishing to leave a message may do so on the condolence book below.
