The death has occurred of
John Whelan
Whelan, John (Drumfinn Road, Ballyfermot) departed this life suddenly on May 12, 2022. He was born and lived his life in Ballyfermot. Beloved son to Maria and Thomas Whelan, father to Saoirse Byrne-Whelan, grandson of John (Jack) Kelly, brother to Stephen, Emma and Karen Whelan, brother-in-law to Thrace Genockey and David Kelly, uncle to Taylor and Jack. Loved by so many others.

Reposing in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Wednesday 18th May from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Thursday morning 19th May to Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by Burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.
The Family have respectfully asked that those attending John’s funeral wear bright clothing, to reflect John’s life.
