| Johnnie Hughes, Knockdoe, Claregalway, Co Galway. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Timothy Hughes and his sister Bridie Roache. Beloved husband to Maureen and best dad ever to Sarah, Tim, James, Colm and Sean, adored grandfather to Jack, Dillon, David, Amy, Róisín, Jonathan, Daniel, Allanah, Tadhg and Keelyn. Wonderful brother to Mary Ann (London), Eileen (London), Tim (Luton), Monica (Sligo) and Anne (Rooaunmore). Brother-in-law to Peter, John, Martin, Tom, Rita and Coley (Boston). Father in-law to Mary, Catherine, Christina, Sheila and Brendan. He will be sadly missed by all his family, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday January 31st. from 3:00 p.m. Reposing again at Our Lady's Chapel, Lackagh (H65 N129) on Wednesday February 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral cortege will arrive at the Church of Our Lady of Knock on Thursday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Lackagh Old Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on www.lackaghchurchliveyoutube and on parish radio 106.9.
