The death has occurred of Josephine (Josie) Ruane (née Kilroy)
Mackney, Ballinasloe, Galway / Ballygar, Galway

Josie passed away peacefully, in her 92nd year, in the comfort of her loving family and the loving care of the staff of St.Brendan’s CNU, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by her husband Stephen (Staff) and all her siblings. Josie will be sorely missed by her heartbroken children Catherine, Bridie, Stephen, Eileen, Martina and Sally and her seven grandchildren, David, Brian, Eimear, Bernard, Sarah Jane, Lauren and Eva, her sons-in-law Barry, Ollie and Frank, her daughter-in-law Marion, sisters-in-law Annie Kilroy, Patricia Ruane and Sue Kilroy, brother-in-law Greg Boyle, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Josie will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), for family, friends and neighbours on Tuesday, the 26th of October from 5pm to 7pm (all those attending are asked to please respect social distancing guildelines). Private removal on Wednesday morning from her home to St. Michael's Church, Ballinasloe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.
