On March 28th 2023, peacefully, in her 96th year, in the presence of her loving family at Bantry General Hospital. Kathleen, predeceased by her husband Maurice and dear mother of James. Sadly missed by her loving son James, daughter-in-law Barbara, much loved grandchildren Shauna, Emma and Anna, brother Connie (Sugrue), sister Nuala (Allis), sister-in-law Noreen (Sugrue), nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends. The family would like to thank the HSE community team and all the wonderful carers who treated Kathleen with such dignity. May she rest in peace. Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home Chapel St, Bantry, on Wednesday, March 29th, from 6pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday March 31st at 3.30pm in St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (livestreamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry. Messages of sympathy for Kathleen’s family may be left below on the condolences section. |
