The death has occurred of Kathleen McGrath (née Keane)
St Rita's, Prospect, Athenry, Galway

Kathleen McGrath (nee Keane) St. Rita’s, Prospect, Athenry, March 24th, 2020 in the presence of her loving daughters and the wonderful, caring staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Wife of the late Michael McGrath. She will be very sadly missed by her daughters, Marita, Anne, Daphne and Karina, sons-in-law Liam and James, cherished grandchildren Neill, Ciaran, Shane, Daire, Ailbhe, Sean and their wives/partner Suzanne, Elaine and Sarah, much loved great-grandchildren Ryan and Cara and by her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

 

Kathleen will repose privately at her home on Thur March 26th. Private Requiem Mass on Fri 27th in the Church of the Assumption, Athenry followed by a private burial in the New Cemetery, Athenry.

 

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a message in the ‘condolences’ section below.

 

The McGrath family appreciate your respect, support and understanding at this time.
