Kathleen Monaghan, nee Deery, East Port, Ballyshannon, Co.Donegal. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and caring staff of Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband, Gerry, son, Gerald, brother, Francis (Scotland) and sister, Sadie (Scotland). Kathleen will be sadly missed by her son, Bernard (Ballyshannon), daughters, Geraldine (Longford), Martina (Ballyshannon), Nicola (London), her sister, Margaret (Canada) and brothers, Jim (Scotland) and Pat (London’s), nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Kathleen shall be reposing at John McGee and sons funeral home, Belleek road, Ballyshannon, on Tuesday (June 14th) from 4pm to 8pm with removal at 8.30pm to her late residence to repose overnight. Removal from her residence on Wednesday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, The Rock, Ballyshannon. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Northwest Hospice, The Mall, Sligo c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors or any family member.
House Private to family on the morning of the funeral, please.
