The death has occurred of
Kevin SIMMS
Kevin Simms of Clanbrassil Street Dublin 8 and Bawnogue, Kilcock, Co Kildare who passed away 20th April 2018 peacefully at St James’ Hospital after a short illness in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Kay and much loved father of Br Solanus (Colm), Ronan, MaryAnne, Eimear, Clodagh and Gearóid. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Jimmy, Tommy and his twin sister Nancy, sons in law Richard, Alan and Alfredo, daughter-in-law Jeanette, grandchildren Roisín, Conor, Carlos, Cian, Kathleen, Isaiah, Ruby, Sinéad and Colm, nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.
Kevin will repose at his son Ronan’s home at Susan Terrace, Dublin 8 on Monday from 2pm (all welcome) until removal at 4.30pm to St Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue arriving for reception prayers at 5pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am followed by interment in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross.
Kevin was an active member of the I.V.C.A and The Water Colour Society of Ireland.
