Liam Hennessy

Hennessy, Liam, late of Churchtown, Dublin 16 and former player of Shamrock Rovers F.C., 21st May 2019, peacefully in the care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital. Sadly missed and loved by his wife Joan, his children David, Siobhán, Liam, Barry, Marc and his sister Maevis. Fondly remembered by his son-in-law Noel, daughters-in-law Arlene, Therésè, Esmè and Gráinne, and by his 12 grandchildren.

Sincere thanks to all the staff of hospital 4 in St. James’s Hospital for their outstanding care of Liam and his family.

Liam will be reposing in the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday (May 22nd) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, arriving for 11am Mass. Burial Private. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Médicins Sans Frontières. There will also be a donation box in the church. All enquiries to Larry Massey Rathfarnham on (01)406-1000.
