The death has occurred of Lucy Cronin (née Cussen)
Bantry, Cork

Cronin (Bantry), On January 24th, 2023, peacefully at the Bons Secours Hospital, Cork, surrounded by her heartbroken family, LUCY (Cupps, nee Cussen), Droumduve,Ballylickey, formerly of Ardnacloughy. Beloved wife of the late Seán, loving mother of Catherine, Elizabeth, Jimmy, Lucy, Peter, Noreen Johnny and Patrick. Loving nana of Paul, Darren, Ashley, Abbey, Declan, Farrah, James, Laura, Jack, Anna and Cassie. Doting great-nana of Aoife, Seán and Grace. Sister of the late Marie (Bowen). Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her family , sister Sophie, sons-in-law Liam, Declan, Patrick and Vincent, daughters-in-law Pauline, Carol and Geraldine, sister-in-law Nora (O’Leary), nephews, nieces, godson Tim, extended family especially Abbie, many relatives, fond neighbours her many great friends including her loyal circle of card players and her faithful friend Rusty.

Reposing at her son’s home in Droumduve, Ballylickey (Eircode : P75 K583) on tomorrow, Wednesday, from 5pm to 8pm. ( A One-way Traffic system will be in place from Ballylickey via the Barnagearagh Road for this duration )

Lucy’s family wish to express their gratitude to the very thoughtful and caring staff at The Bons Secours Hospital. This was her choice of Hospital as she felt so at home there with their very strong religious ethos.
