The death has occurred of Madge Mc Ginnity nee Maguire, Blackwater Vale, Monaghan and formerly Carrickaslane, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Saturday May 1st peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Madge, predeceased by her husband Eugene. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her sons Philip, Ambrose and Eugene, daughters in-law Oonagh, Ruth and Suzanne, her cherished grandchildren Sarah, Niall, Eoghan, Louise, Conor, Kate, Laura and Emily, sisters in-law Carmel and Eileen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

Madge’s funeral cortège will travel from her home in Blackwater Vale on Tuesday morning (driving), at 11:30am to arrive at St Macartan’s Cathedral Monaghan, via Ballyalbany, pausing at Belgian Square, Glaslough St. and Dublin St., for funeral Mass at 12noon followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery Ballybay at 1:45pm.Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the link: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-macartans-cathedral-monaghan

 

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Madge’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only and house private. Those who would have liked to attend but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolence section below.Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Hospice Foundation, c/o Wards Funeral Home.
