Maeve passed away peacefully on Saturday, 11th Sept. 2021 in the warm presence of her family at University College Hospital, Galway.
Deeply missed by her heartbroken husband Padraig and daughter Emily, her mother Maeve, sisters and brothers Máire, Christine, Michael and Tony, sisters-in-law Éilis and Maura, brothers-in-law Rory, Brian and Shane, nieces and nephews Peter, Maeve, Robert, Kate, Tom, Joe, Cian, Seán and Caoimhe, the extended Birmingham and Canavan family and her friends.
Funeral Cortège will pass by the Canavan home in Renmore on Tuesday morning, 14th September, 2021 at 10.40 a.m. approximately on route to the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore. Requiem Mass on arrival at 11 a.m.. Funeral after Mass to Rinville cemetery, Oranmore overlooking Galway Bay where Maeve will be laid to rest near her beloved father Michael.
While the size of the congregation allowed in the church has increased, we are still mindful of the risk of the spread of Covid 19 and so we ask that the church be confined to the extended family and close friends.
