MAIDIE (MARY) HANNON (née Farrell) Abbey Street, Roscommon town. July 30th, 2020; (Peacefully), in her 95th year, in the devoted care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by Matthew, Carmel and Marty Creaner, Sophie, Emma, Bruce and Ellie, her sisters Chrissie, Rita, Wyn and Theresa and her brothers Tommy, Jimmy and Brian. She will be sorely missed by her brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Maidie rest in peace.

Please note that in an effort to follow government guidelines and with the support and agreement of the family, Maidie’s funeral will take place privately for family and close friends only. Her funeral cortege will depart from Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Tuesday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c followed by burial in St Coman’s Cemetery. We would respectfully ask those who are attending the funeral to kindly wear face coverings in the interest of public safety.
