The death has occurred of Margaret (Madge) Cassidy (née Connolly). St. Mary's Nursing Home, Castleblayney and formerly Carrickmaclim, Carrickmacross, 11th June 2020. In her 86th year. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Mary's Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Tom, her brothers Pete, Jim, John, Matt and her sisters Nan, Angie, Cassie, Ena and Josie. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her sons James, Pat, Peter, Philip and Vinny, her daughters Mary, Kate (Murtagh) and Margaret (Caiazzo), her daughters-in-law Karen, Michelle, Gráinne, Lorraine and Philip's partner Adrienne, sons-in-law Cian and Daniele, her adored grandchildren Mathew, Evana, Oisín, Chloe, Amy, Jack, Ellen-Jane, Sophie-Marie, Fionnán, Sadhbh, Luke, Fionn, Eve, Caoimhe, Conor, Seán, Giacomo and Maddalena, her brothers Canon Phil (Doohamlet), Monsignor Vincent (Magherarney) and Pat (Carrickmacross), sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current guidelines, Madge's Funeral Mass will take place privately for family only, on Saturday, 13th June, at 11am, in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, followed by private burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross.
