The death has occurred of Maria Brady (née Flynn)
Church View, Kells, Meath

The death has occurred peacefully following a short illness of Maria Brady, Nee Flynn age 55, at James Connolly Memorial Hospital Blanchardstown in the loving care of her devoted family and outstanding and dedicated nursing and medical staff.

 

Maria's remains will leave her brother Francis's residence on the Cavan Rd, Kells on Sunday 28th February at 10.20am, her funeral cortege will go via her family home in Church View, to arrive at St. Colmcille's Church Kells for private funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed on https://www.kellsparish.ie/our-parish/webcam/, followed by burial in St. Colmcille's Cemetery.

 

Both family homes, Strictly Private at all times please.

 

Maria was predeceased by her darling infant son Conor Edward, her parents Evelyn and Frank and is survived by her devoted and loving husband Edward, son Colm, brothers Martin and Francis, mother in Law Kitty, aunties, nephews and nieces, in-laws, cousins, relatives and a large circle of family and friends.

 

Maria will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and sister and a true friend to many, who loved and lived life to the full. In her early years Maria was a champion athlete with Kells running club and won many titles for Kells, she was a very much admired and popular member of staff of the former Zenith factory in Kells, she was a loyal supporter of Man United Football Club, she loved to place a bet on a horse race, not always lucky enough to pick the winner, she loved the company of family and friends and always had the ability to make people laugh. Her sudden and peaceful death has left her family and the wider Kells community greatly saddened as her warm personality will be greatly missed by so many.
