On September 15th 2020, our loving mother, daughter, sister and wife Marie passed away peacefully after an arduous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her caring and devoted family – husband Liam, daughters Jenny and Michelle, son Gary, mother Teresa, sisters Bridget, Noeleen, Teresa and Tracy, brothers Christy and Michael, her nieces and nephews and her in-laws. She will be remembered and missed by all those who were lucky enough to meet her, including her many many friends.

 

Marie was a beacon of light in this world, and it will never be the same without her.

 

May she rest in peace

 

A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the Funeral, but cannot due to current restrictions, may leave a personal message for Marie's family in the 'Condolences' section below.

 

Requiem Mass can be viewed on https://www.marinoparish.ie/live-stream/ at 11.30 o’clock on Friday, 18th September 2020. Marie’s funeral cortège is expected to leave her home on Friday at 11am and will then proceed, at walking pace, to Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Griffith Avenue, Marino. Anyone wishing to line the route are welcome to do so while observing social distancing guidelines.

Family flowers only please, the family have asked that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Irish Cancer Society.
