Martin (Birdie) KENNY

KENNY, Martin (Birdie), 30th July, 2021, Fonthill, Rathfarnham, D.14, formerly of Eyrecourt, Co. Galway. Founding member and Vice-president of Ballyboden St. Enda's  GAA Club. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of Edwina, devoted and much loved dad of Jonathan, Lorna and Martin.   Martin will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife and family, daughters-in-law Stephanie and Ruth, son-in-law Ian, his adored grandchildren, Jack, Darragh, Shona, Sinead, Conor, Aisling, Sean and Tom, brother Paddy and sister Carmel (Gallinagh), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Due to the current Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral will take place for immediate family only (50 people).  Friends and relatives who would like to pay their final farewell to Martin his funeral cortege will leave Fonthill at approx. 9.30am on Wednesday morning on route to Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan.   Funeral Mass will be streamed live at 10 am on https://churchmedia.tv/camera/ballyroan-parish-church-rathfarnham, followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.   Personal messages of condolence can be left at: https://www.masseybrosfuneralhomes.com/funeral-notices  or by using the condolence book at the bottom of this page.
