Máire died very peacefully on December 18, in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Galway Hospice following an illness borne with great strength and good humour.

Dearly beloved and loving Mother of Úna, John, Tim, Des, Deirdre and the late infant Conor, and doting grandmother of Ria. Deeply mourned and very sadly missed by her children, their partners Gerry, Kulveer, Emilia, Karlita and Jamie, all of whom she loved and who loved her very much, her beloved sisters Anne, Margaret and Eleanor and her sister-in-law Angela. Predeceased by her darling brother, Donal. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, extended family and her many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Thursday 21 December between 2pm and 3pm.

Cremation will take place at Glasnevin Crematorium on Friday, 22 December at 1 p.m.
