The death has occurred of Mary Ellen (Helen) Smith, (nee Feely), Athboy and formerly of Dublin, peacefully in her 94th year in the loving care of all the staff of Millbury Nursing Home, Navan, after a long illness borne with great dignity and courage. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Henry and Christina, brothers Maurice and Harry and recently deceased, her son Eoghan's partner Anne. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Fr.Declan (Taghmon), Brendan (Moynalty), Ciaran (Athboy), Eoghan (Mumbai), Ronan (Oxfordshire), daughters, Edel Keeley (Kilmeade), Imelda (Clonee), daughters-in-law Maura, Maureen, Michelle, son-in-law Denis, her 14 grandchildren, her brother Tommy (London), sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.
May Helen's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, (Eircode C15 KW58) this Friday afternoon from 4 pm, with removal to St.James' Church, Athboy arriving at 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in Moynalty Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Alzheimer's society of Ireland, Meath branch. To protect yourself and the Smith family we ask to refrain from handshaking and wear a mask where possible.
