Mary Gilroy (Née Kyne) Streedagh, Grange, Co. Sligo and formerly Clonbur, Co. Galway – January 08, 2025, on the last day of her 97th Year, peacefully at St Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Dan and son-in-law Martin. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her daughter Maura Gilchrist (Longford), sons Seamus (Cork), Sean (Letterkenny), and Donal, daughters-in-law Maeve, Pat and Helen, her adored grandchildren Macdara, Cormac, Sorcha, Brónach, Gráinne, Eoghan, Colm, Desmond, Orna, Eimear, Caoimhe and great grandchildren Isabelle, Oisín, Líadan and Donovan. Will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Anne and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGloin’s Funeral Home, Cliffoney (Eircode F91N880) on Friday the 10th of January from 4pm to 7pm. Removal at 7pm to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Grange to arrive at 7.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in Ahamlish cemetery. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies can do so on the condolence section below.
