It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mary (née O’Brien) on 2nd of Sept 2024. Peacefully, after a short illness in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Mercy University Hospital Cork, surrounded by her loving family. Cherished and adored wife of Tom, loving mother of Steven, Billy, Laura and Ruth. Loving sister to Michael, Ivor, Aquinas, Brian (deceased) and Philomena (deceased). Loving grandmother to Jessica (deceased).

Sadly missed by her loving family: grandchildren Cian, Dylan, Laura, Emily, Fionn, Sam, Artair, Eva, Euan, Eoin, Muireann and Charlie, daughters-in-law Melanie and Maria, sons-in-law Wain and Stephen, extended family and great neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Rd., Mayfield, Cork T23 D778, on Thursday, 5th Sept., from 6.00pm-7.00pm with prayers at 6:45pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, 6th Sept., at St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield, at 12:00 noon, which will be live streamed HERE followed by Cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
