Mary McDonnell
(née Downey)
Mary McDonnell (née Downey) Castlemine, Four-Mile-House, Co Roscommon and formerly of Drinane, Ballygar, Co Galway. October 5th, 2021. (Peacefully); in her 93rd year, in the loving care of the staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill. Beloved wife of the late Billie. She will be very sadly missed by her sister-in-law Mary Downey, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Mary rest in peace.
In an effort to follow government guidelines, the attendance at Mary’s funeral will be restricted. She will repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Wednesday evening from 5 o’c until 6.30 o’c (walk through only) followed by removal to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Derrane (via Cooltigue). Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. For those wishing to offer their sympathies, we suggest using the online condolence link below.
