The death has occurred of Matthew (Matty) Farrell
Old Road Kilcarn, Balreask Old, Navan, Meath

Peacefully, at the Mater Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Maise and Peter, brothers and sister.

 

Matty will be very sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years Theresa, sons Gerard, Matthew and Joseph, daughters Cora and Tríona, grandchildren Nicole, Molly, Luke and Kelly, great-grandson Joshua, sons-in-law Ray and Chris, daughter-in-law Catherine, sisters Naney and Maeve (UK), nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at St Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown (C15 C425) on Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm for family and close friends. Removal on Monday morning at 10 am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Navan for Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, which can be viewed on https://www.navanparish.ie/livestream. Matty’s Funeral Cortege will leave St Mary’s Church and travel pass his home residence on route to Old Kilcarn Cemetery, Johnstown for Burial.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Mater Hospital Dublin who took care of Matty with great kindness throughout his time there.

 

In compliance with the current HSE guidelines, and to ensure the safety of all a

Funeral Mass will take place for family, limited to 50 people.

Please ensure social distancing and Public Health advice is adhered to.
