Donore, Bagenalstown, Carlow / Kiltealy, Wexford
Mattie Cowman passed away peacefully on Sunday, 12th March, 2023, at his home in Donore, surrounded by his adoring family. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret, his brothers Noel and Mike and his sister Maureen. Cherished father of Emer, Fergal, Eoin, Gránia and Conor. Beloved grandfather to Jack, Ella, Caragh, Ollie, Croíadh, Síofra, Orry, Eoghan, Matthew and Emma. He will be sadly missed by his adored daughters-in-law Andrea, Laura, Ciara, sons-in-law Brian and Dave, brothers Tom, Johnny, Paul, Pakie, Jimmy, Andy, Joe and his sister Ann, extended family, neighbours and friends. Mattie will be deeply missed by his great neighbours Breda and Gerry, to whom the family will be forever grateful and also his good friends Tom and Breda McDonald and Tom and Fidelus.

Reposing at his residence in Donore (R21 YV07) from 12pm to 8pm on Tuesday, 14th March, with funeral prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday, 15th March, at 10.45am to arrive at St. Andrew's Church, Bagenalstown, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.
