Maura Blighe (née Moorhead), Carrenderry, Williamstown, Co. Galway. - 26th May 2023 -
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at St Teresa's Ward, Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Dom and daughter Carmel, her sister Bridget (Birdie) and brother's Micheal and Terence.
Maura will be deeply missed by her loving children; Paddy (Williamstown), Padraig (Dublin), Dominic (Dublin), Geraldine (Dublin), Stella (Ruislip), Redmond (Exeter), Fred (Galway), Christina (Williamstown) and Gordon (Williamstown), her sister Teresa (Kearns), sons-in-law Desmond and Brendan, daughters-in-law Kate, Dara, Sandie, Clodagh and Caroline, adoring grandchildren Amy, Courtney, Shane, Hannah, Robert, Sarah, Rachel, Nathan, Stephanie, Peter, Morgan, Christian and Dominic, great-grandchildren Sophie, Oliver and Culann, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May Maura’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Feeney's Funeral Home, Williamstown (F45RC53) on Saturday, May 27th, from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Sunday, May 28th, at 3.00 p.m. in St. Therese's Church, Williamstown followed by burial in Kilcroan Cemetery.
