Barry, Maureen (née Doherty), late of Rathfarnham (and formerly of Athlone, Co. Westmeath and Gurrane, Ennistymon, Co. Clare), passed away peacefully on the 16th of October 2020, surrounded by her family, in the care of the wonderful staff at Tallaght Hospital and recently of The Marlay Nursing Home, Rathfarnham. Maureen, beloved wife of Nick and adored mother of Kieran, Nicola, Sarah and Katharine. Predeceased by her brothers PJ, Jack, Paul and Michael and her sister Anne. Sadly missed by her beloved husband and children; daughter-in-law Amy, sons-in-law Eoin and Liam, grandchildren Rachel, Louise, Katie, Eleanor and James, her brothers Tommy and Jimmy, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and all her extended family, neighbours and friends.

In line with HSE / Government advice regarding COVID-19, and to ensure the safety for all, a private funeral and cremation service for Maureen’s immediate family will take place on Wednesday the 21st of October. The Funeral Mass at 9:50am may be viewed online by going to the following link https://rathfarnhamparish.ie/webcam. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.
