Bowen (Crossbarry) on January 14th 2022 peacefully at her home and in the loving care of her six children. Maureen (nee Foley), beloved wife of the late Pat and dearly loved mother of Patrick, Emmett, Rose, Veronica, Therese, Caroline and the late Michael Vincent (infant) and sister of Donal and the late Carrie and Patricia.

Sadly missed by her loving family, brother, her adored nine grandchildren Alisha, David, Lydia, Emily, John, Aoife, Sean, Darragh and Faye, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughter-in-law Christina, sons-in-law Eamonn and Brian, nieces, nephews, cousins and a much loved circle of friends and neighbours.

We understand that due to these circumstances, it will not be possible to meet with you all at this time but we would love if you would like to leave a message below or join us en route to Innishannon Church. Maureen’s Cortege will leave Crossbarry on Monday at 11.30am approx. and will travel through the grounds of Maureen’s beloved St. Patrick’s Upton en route to St. Mary’s Church, Innishannon for Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be livestreamed on www.funeralslive.ie/maureen-bowen/. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.

Maureen will repose at her home on Saturday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Unfortunately, outside of these times, the house remains private. We appreciate that due to the current restrictions that not everyone who would like to attend will be able to. For those of you who cannot attend, we look forward to seeing you along the route or to reading your condolences.
