Maureen Connolly
The death has occurred, peacefully, of Maureen Connolly (best known as Mairín Mhiclín Riley), Big House, Leitir Mealláin, formerly of Deirin Glas, Leitir Móir. Pre-deceased by her husband Connolly Beag (Patrick), brother John, and sister Barbara. She will be sadly missed by her children Mary, Bridie, Patrick and Michael, her grandchildren, brothers Michael, Peter, Dudley, sisters Bríd, Noreen and Neilín, in-laws, as well as a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the Ionad, beside Leitir Móir Church, on Wednesday, the 27th of October, from 5pm-7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, the 28th of October, at 12pm, at Réalt na Mara Church, Leitir Mealláin and burial afterwards in Cuigéal Cemetery.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Áras Chois Fharraige Nursing Home for the excellent care they provided over the last few months.
