Maureen Hamilton (née McGowan), 2 Gleann Ailinne, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim and formerly Belfast January 30th 2023, peacefully after a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family at Galway university hospital. Pre-deceased by her parents Joe McGowan and Elizabeth McGowan (née Archer), infant brother Gerard, brother John and sister Jenette. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Ian, sons Paul (Drumshanbo) and Mark (Lincolnshire), daughter Kelly (Drumshanbo), daughter-in-law Rachael, son-in-law Stephen Dyer, adored grandchildren Bradley, Naoise, Jodie, Dylan and Callum, great-grandchildren Ashton and Nicole, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, dear cousin Eileen, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Maureen will repose at her residence No.2 Gleann Ailinne, Drumshanbo on Wednesday, 1st February, from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Maureen’s funeral cortege will leave her residence at 10:30 o’ clock on Thursday morning, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Drumshanbo for funeral Mass at 11 o’ clock followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 4 o’ clock.
