The peaceful death has taken place on Saturday 10th August 2024 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Long Lane Letterkenny of May Lynch, née Doherty, 37 Dr. McGinley Road, Glencar, Letterkenny F92 WYR4. Deeply missed by her loving son Hughie and wife Adele Lynch, daughters Venessa and husband Stephen Nee and Elizabeth Burke, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Eunan Doherty (McNeely Villas, Letterkenny) and sister Phyllis Touhey (Offaly), son-in-law Freddie Wilkie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

May is predeceased by her sons Hughie Doherty and Liam Anthony Lynch and her daughter Marie Wilkie.

Rest in Peace

May’s remains will be reposing at her late residence on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th August from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Tuesday 13th August at 10.30am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Hillcrest Nursing Home Comfort Fund c/o any family member.
