Peacefully, after a short illness, in the wonderful care of the palliative care, doctors, nurses, and all the staff at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan. Pre-deceased by his parents, Michael and Nora, and his brother, Larry. Sadly missed by his wife, Bernadette, his sons, Johnny, Gerard, and Oliver, Sally and his granddaughter Zoe, sisters Mary, Geraldine, Patricia, and Nora, brothers James, Martin, and Brendan, his wider family, relatives, and friends. May He Rest In Peace
In accordance with government and HSE guidelines, a private funeral mass will take place in St. John the Baptist Church, Nobber, on Friday the 22nd of January at 12 noon, which can be viewed live on the Nobber Dee Railers Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Nobber-Dee-Railers-1524495731096112/). Burial afterwards in local cemetery. For those who would like to attend the funeral mass but cannot due to current restrictions, please leave a message in the condolences section below.
Mickey will be remembered fondly by his close friends and people in the community that he has helped out and done odd jobs for over the years. His funeral procession will pass by his home place in Knock, Castletown K.P., Thursday at 1pm, and Rahood, Nobber on Friday at 11:50am en route to the church. We ask all those who wish to pay their respects along the routes to acknowledge social distancing at all times. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Meath Palliative Care. |
