Formerly Colmcille Road, Shantalla. Peacefully, at University Hospital Galway after a long illness borne with great dignity. Beloved son of the late John and Nora and much loved brother of Sean, Mary, Nonie, Teresa and Gerard. Mourned and sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law Mick and John, sister-in-law Deborah, nieces, nephews, the extended Higgins and Burke family, neighbours and friends,
Reposing at St. Pio's Room within the Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway, on Monday, 20 March, from 6.00 p.m. with Removal to the Church at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael on Tuesday, 21 March, at 12 noon after which he will be laid to rest with his parents in Rahoon Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if preferred, to the Respiratory Unit UHG.
