O’BRIEN, Michael, late of Ballinteer, Dublin, and formerly Blackcastle, Navan, Co. Meath, and former Garda Siochana, Donnybrook, passed away peacefully, aged 83, on the 9th of January 2022, in the wonderful care of all the staff at Tara Care Centre, Bray. Beloved husband of Breda and loving father of Mark; Michael will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Luke and Kate, brothers Jim and John (Paddy), his sister Eileen, sisters-in-law Marion, Belinda and Marie, brothers-in-law Liam and Jackser, nieces, nephews, and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Michael will be reposing in the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Rathfarnham, on Tuesday, January 11th, from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, arriving for 10.30am Mass, followed by burial in Donaghmore Cemetery, Navan. For those who would like to attend the funeral but cannot, please leave a message of sympathy for Michael’s family in the ‘Condolences' section below.
