| Micheál Smith, Slanore, Crossdoney, Co. Cavan, Sunday, March 5th 2023, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan. Beloved son of the late Michael and Mary Kate Smith and predeceased by his brothers Sean and Seamus, baby sister Mary and his sister in law Maura. Micheál will be very sadly missed by his niece Bridie, nephews Pauric (Roisín), Seamus (Geraldine), Raymond (Sarah), Marie (Tony), Antoinette (Johnny), Martin (Noeleen), sister in law Ann, all his relatives, great neighbours and many, many friends. May he rest in peace. Micheál will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12 C821), this Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am from his home in Slanore to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumcor, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery. |
