The death has occurred of MICK CAHALANE
Bengour East, Newcestown, Cork
CAHALANE, Newcestown, on May 19th 2020, Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital. Michael (MICK), Bengour East. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Kitty, his nieces Eibhlín and Olivia, nephews Mark and Sean and their spouses Declan, Jason, Siobhan and Helen, grandnieces and grandnephews Rachel, Emma, Patrick, Ellen, Nicole, Isabelle, Shannon, Tristan, June, Robyn, Katie, Michael and Taylor, great-grandnephews Isaac and Ryan, great-grandnieces Lauren and Caitlin, extended family, friends and neighbours and his Jack-Russel, Cookie. Predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Margaret and by his sisters Mary and Rita, his brothers Ted, Pad, Neilie and Gerard.
May he rest in peace.
Special thanks to his 3 wonderful carer’s Mary’s Nyhan, Coughlan and O’Mahony and Bushmount Nursing Home who gave him excellent care and great comfort and company.

Mick’s funeral will leave his home at approx. 11.30am on Thursday to arrive at the Church of St. John the Baptist, Newcestown for 12 noon Requiem Mass which will be live streamed on the Murragh and Templemartin Parish Facebook page and uploaded to view later.
