The death has occurred of
Nan McGovern
Nan (Annie Margaret) passed away peacefully at Avila Nursing Home, surrounded by her devoted family, on 14th November 2023. May she rest in peace. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Annie McGovern and predeceased by all her siblings, Doreen (Mallon), Masie (Hughes), Rosemarie, Angela (McAleenan), Phil, Tom, Francie, Sidney, PJ, Ignatius and Maxie RIP.
Nan’s remains are reposing at her niece Paula’s home 74 Green Road, from 12 noon until 10 pm on Wednesday 15th November 2023. Funeral leaving Paula’s home on Thursday 16th November 2023, at 12 noon for 1 pm Requiem Mass in the Church of St. Malachy, Carrickcruppen. Interment immediately afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
Nan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces and, Catherine, Therese, Monica, and Michael Mallon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
