The death has occurred of Nora Cooney (née Fahy)
(formerly, Roo, Craughwell), Carramore, Bullaun, Loughrea, Galway

Nora, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on 1st of February 2023, in the wonderful care of the amazing staff of the Acute Medical Unit, University College Hospital, Galway.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, sons Peter and Thomas, grandson Jordan, brothers, Fr Fíacra, Br. Martin, Tom, John, and Ignatius, her sisters, Sr Declan, Nuala, Maura and Ann.

Nora will be sadly missed and always remembered by her sons, Jimmy, Pakie, Michael, Joe and Brendan, her daughters, Mary (Hayes) and Geraldine (Butler) Dublin, Teresa (Kelly) New Inn, Breege (Kelly) England, Philomena (Bolger) Enniscorthy, Martina (Sweeney) New Quay, Joan (Poland) Eyrecourt, and Angela, New Quay.

Nora will be deeply mourned by her brothers Pat (Banbridge) and Peter (England), her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, residents and staff of the Brampton Care Home, Oranmore and her many friends.

Nora will lie in repose in Áras Muire, New Inn, Ballinasloe (H53 P6CO) on Friday 3rd February from 4pm to 7pm with removal afterwards to St Patrick's Church, Bullaun.

Requiem Mass for Nora will be celebrated on Saturday at 12noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
